If you just bought a new computer or installed a fresh copy of Windows Vista or Windows 7 , the Power option is set to default which means every time your PC goes into sleep mode it turns it self on every 15-30 minutes automatically and repeatedly when not in use. In this post I will show you how to disable the automatic waker. This way your PC is in sleep mode and wont turn itself On until someone wakes it.

Okay first off thanks to Tekzilla daily for this great tip. This is not the greatest idea or it’s not going to help you speed up you computer.
It’s best to keep the Notification thing turn on at all times, because it acts like a reminder or sometimes you need to know your error messages in order to fix certain problems problems.
Anyways if you want to turn this little feature Off, you could do this by opening up your action center.

Just because you got a 32-bit version of Windows vista pre- installed on your PC, doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade it to a 64-bit Vista or Windows 7 (including those who want to try out the Windows 7 RC), and it also doesn’t mean your PC was built for only 32-bit versions of Windows.
